Graduate School of Techno Design, Architecture at Koomin University
In 1999, Kookmin University established the Techno Design Graduate School, which combines the Department of Architecture and eight Design majors, to nurture and produce internationally competitive designers in response to the recent design trends.
The Department of Architectural Design at the Graduate School of Techno Design, Kookmin University, conducts education to provide direct and indirect solutions to problems which facing the modern era, such as space, architecture, and the environment, and develops international competitiveness and comprehensive thinking skills. The purpose of the establishment of the Department of Architectural Design at the Graduate School of Techno Design, Kookmin University, is to nurture qualified architects.
The Department of Architectural Design at the Techno Design Graduate School is currently offering a two-year Master of Architecture(M.Arch) and the three-year Master of Architecture(M.Arch). We provide professional design-focused training program. The two-year Master of Architecture(M.Arch) program provided by students who have completed architecture majors and Bachelor's Program.
In addition, the Department of Architectural Design at the Graduate School of Techno Design provides graduate students with an educational program that allows them to choose and take courses in various design fields such as vision, products, metals, and fashion, taking advantage of the purpose of the establishment of the Techno Design Graduate School. Industrial employees are used as teachers in the design studio to provide practical training. This minimizes the burden of finding a job by improving students' practical skills as well as cultivating the complex abilities required of today's architects.
